This week's Adventures ~ Desert Botanical Gardens ~ Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch

Took a few days off to visit my friend in Mesa.  ≈
She made the most fabulous dinner

And a beautiful lemon pie

We had a blast visiting the Desert Botanical Gardens.
The weather was perfect and the garden was in bloom.

The new butterfly pavilion was spectacular.

I especially love the towering Saguaro cactus.

On my way back home I stopped at the Ostrich Farm by Picacho Peak.
I have driven by there for years and finally decided it was time to check it out.
What a fun place, I highly recommend it for all ages!

There are Miniature Donkeys, sheep, goats, bunnies, ducks, parakeets, loikeets, deer and sting rays.
You can feed them all.  Here is a picture of a few of the animals there.

I went over to Pichacho State Park to see if it was in bloom but no flowers yet.

That is all for this week, until my next adventure, Grace
